Taking that into account this time,

“Portfolio version” EA risk management calculation method,

I plan to write about at a more practical level.

■【Portfolio version】 EA risk management calculation method

The approach that is good for beginners is to use the calculation at the URL above to determine the minimum capital required per EA, one by one,

per standard lot.

Then allocate funds according to the risk you are willing to take.

After that, operate with the total amount of that capital.

As you become advanced, you can take on risk more safely by using portfolio effects.

What this means is that when you build a portfolio,

the drawdowns of each EA offset each other.

In other words, the total net profit remains the same while the maximum drawdown decreases,

in short, the recovery factor improves.

In terms of such “performance summation,”

one can regard the portfolio as a single multi-logic EA and,

calculate the funds and lot ratios according to the URL above,

as one way to enjoy the portfolio effect.

Personally, I manage risk with that mindset for EA operation.
