Today’s topic is the following.
“What must occur is the opposite trade”
For example, when a yen weakness trend occurs,
even if many people are buying USD/JPY,
it won’t be profitable unless you settle (close) the positions.
Therefore
someone will inevitably have to close a position,
you will see people selling USD/JPY to push the price down,
in other words, an “opposite trade” will occur.
The trend does not continue forever,
there are times when positions are settled due to some catalyst,
and at some point the trend will end.
However
the question of “how long a trend lasts” is something no one can know.
But “opposite trades” will definitely occur.
It happens on any time frame.
This is because market participants view various timeframes.
However,
where the opposite trades occur will probably require capturing “crowd psychology.”
Or,
at the end of Japan time,
at the end of European time,
at the end of NY time,
there are dealers who close their positions.
