Each EA developer has

Different cars also have different driving characteristics.

just as different cars are born with different concepts,

Even if the car models are different, if the manufacturers are the same
the engine sounds are the same,
the horn sounds are the same,
but just the exterior is different
you would feel they are different cars.
Therefore, even if you don’t understand when you acquire an EA,
when you build a portfolio and operate it,
positions of overlapping EAs will increase risk proportionally to the overlap,
so it might be good to narrow down to one side.
Or, split across multiple accounts.
Also, before purchasing, to identify the type of EA,
it’s good to understand what’s written on the sales page,
but there are parts you can understand from backtesting as well.
EA with high win rates are scalping or contrarian.
EA with low win rates are trend-following or contrarian swing.
Just by adding various win-rate EAs to a portfolio
you can prevent position overlaps.
Then, if you have positions bought at low prices and sold at high prices at the same time,
you can stay in a state of perpetual unrealized profit,
and it can also ease your mind.
