3/1 (Fri) A line forms for MT4
EA developer Reiwa’s Double E is here.
Today“An MT4 that creates queues”is the topic.
…Ah, it’s not about popular MT4 stories.
It’s a story about “any MT4 can have a queue.”
What kind of queue is it, you ask?
The “orders.”
Orders for entries and exits from the EA.
Due to MT4's specifications,
when multiple orders come in at the same time,
they are not processed in parallel,
they are processed in series.
In other words, a “queue of orders” is formed.
Therefore,
the fills are delayed by that amount.
Even so,
there will be differences in the obtained prices.
So no matter how well you build latency optimizations,
that particular issue cannot be resolved.
Therefore
depending on what kind of portfolio you have,
your performance will vary slightly.
Some people push to the limit, but
in my case I use an “open-price operation EA” and
it is not a tick-based EA.
I test it with sufficiently set spreads during development,
and I operate it casually without worrying about those things at all.
There’s no end to this topic in the first place,
and more than spending time on that, I want to spend time on EA development.
Well then!
