a saying I believe from Katsuya Nomura, a figure in professional baseball.

For example, in competitions or matches,

there are “winners” and “losers.”

FX is also described as a “zero-sum game.”

When you win, even if you are not in good form yourself,

it may be that “your opponent was in worse form.”

So there can be “mysterious wins.”

In other words, there are many ways to win.

When you lose, even if you are in good form or bad form,

if “the other side was stronger,” you may lose.

Within that, there is no such thing as a “mysterious loss.”

With that in mind,

when thinking about how to win in the future,

“why did I lose?”

in order to grow.

That is a good way to think.
