⑬ About "nanpin" (with martingale)

Today,
「Nanpin (with Martingale)
about the overview of the logic,
while introducing representative EAs
Here are the representative EAs.
Entry is triggered by technical indicators,
then if the price moves against you by a certain number of pips,
because of Martingale, the position is scaled up by 2x, 4x, and so on...
as the position is increased in lot size.
Since chasing rebounds itself is a form of “contrarian trading,”
in addition to going against the trend,
there is a risk in increasing lot sizes.
However, the strategy itself is not inherently bad,
and it can be profitable if used properly,
as in the EA in the attached image URL,
with thorough risk management, it can be winning.
Nampion-type strategies close positions in multiple lots,
taking profits when total gains have accumulated,
while entries are made by some trigger,
for example by contrarian entry or on breakout,
making it an EA with varied entry methods.

This is a typical representative example.
Personally, it is the one that creates the most reliable Nanpin-Martin style.
Why is that?
Among Nanpin-Martin strategies,
backtesting often yields a low recovery factor (net profit ÷ maximum drawdown),
leading to poor capital efficiency, but
this EA has a high recovery factor,
meaning it tends to allow large lots with relatively little capital.
That makes performance more stable and yields higher return rates.
With that in mind,
when considering Nanpin-Martin,
it may be good to look at such aspects.
