FX, mental health, and midnight ramen!

Even though I’m on a diet, I ended up eating ramen in the middle of the night.
Even though work was waiting, I got absorbed in a game that I ended up playing.

...I think many people can relate to experiences like these.

Many people feel the same: “I understand it, but I can’t stop.”
They worry about “I end up doing it.”

FX is no exception. Many people feel that they can’t obtain desirable results in FX
even though they try,
“I can’t win at all and suffer a big loss.” “I don’t know right from left and end up losing.”
are rare cases.

In reality, many losses come from mistakes like, “I know I shouldn’t do it, but I do it.”
“I get carried away by excitement and break the rules.”
Such mistakes lead to defeats, and this is very common.

For example,
“I understood I should cut losses here, but I continued trading recklessly,
resulting in a large loss.”

“Even though I know revenge trading is absolutely bad,
I was swept by emotions and clicked anyway.”

Experiences like these are common for people who trade FX.

Thus, the failure of “understanding it in your head but not being able to act on it in reality”
is something everyone experiences.

However, for those facing such challenges,
please refrain from blaming yourself.

It isn’t your personal problem; rather, it stems from the way the brain works.
Unfortunately, the human brain has evolved to fail in FX.

The fundamental cause lies in problems with the defensive mindset.
“Why can’t I win in FX?” “Why do I fail?”

Understanding these reasons is possible.
Therefore, countermeasures are possible.

Focusing on almost all the “barriers” that many FX traders face
and how to cope with them,
as well as concrete measures to maintain mental fortitude,
it is important to develop the “strongest mental state.”

My belief is that “FX is 90% mental,” so
I plan to write more about mental aspects.
