Bitflyer Exchange Seminar Impressions

On Sunday, November 13th of last week, a seminar by BitFlyer was held in Tokyo.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, I also visited the venue.
The main contents of the seminar were
● Overview of cryptocurrencies
● Overview of the BitFlyer Exchange
● Trading Bitcoin on FX
● Explanation of BitFlyer’s chart software
.
Among these, the main item was “Bitcoin FX.”
It seems to be trading Bitcoin as if it were FX.
One popular recommendation for beginners in particular is “buy and hold.”
Holding Bitcoin for the long term. Bitcoin, which is still rising, is expected to rise further in the future, so holding long-term.
In addition, there was also an introduction to “trading using indicators.”
Using SMA (moving average) and the Ichimoku cloud. They briefly explained how to trade by applying these to charts. However, this is just one
method, so I think it’s important not to overtrust it.
There was also an explanation about “arbitrage.” This involves slight price differences depending on the exchange, and trading utilizing those differences.
I have no personal experience with arbitrage trading, but I’ve heard from an expert acquaintance that some people earn money with cryptocurrency arbitrage.
Because it involves price differences, I think a fairly substantial amount of capital is necessary.
The seminar was free, and the attendees listened seriously, which motivated me to study more as well.
It felt that the participants had a strong willingness to study investments.
Although it was a beginner-oriented seminar, it seemed that more than half of the attendees had considerable investment experience.
One of the good things about seminars is the opportunity to interact with people who share the same purpose.
Rather than just exchanging information with each other, it made me realize again that you can absorb knowledge about investing more efficiently by attending seminars.
I have written a bit more detailed overview in the article below, so I hope you find it helpful.
