[Publication Report] Nikkei Veritas "Individual Investors: Seven Falls, Eight Rises"
Good work on daily trading, everyone.
How have your trading results been?
Today is the Gotō day, and also Obon and the end of the war, so we’re taking a wait-and-see stance on the call money (edding) trade, and we carried out selling in all three accounts, including the main ones, as if hammering a mole, while buying was kept in check.
I’m pleased to report that this week's Nikkei Veritas features my piece “Individual Investors: Seven Falls, Eight Additions.”
Having started in stocks 15 years ago and FX 11 years ago, after many twists and turns, I’m grateful that I can still face the market and stay alive today.
One of the words I received from my best friend and mentor who introduced me to FX is, “There is a path behind people’s footsteps, a mountain of flowers,” which remains etched in my trading life as a constant reminder.
Well, last weekend the Turkish shock moved the markets a great deal, but this week is Obon and today is the end of the war; many overseas markets are also on summer vacation, so perhaps we’ve returned to a midsummer lull.
Since the Turkish shock has not yet subsided, I will continue to face the market carefully and with enjoyment.
