【Question: Will the discount rate be the same next year?】

If next year’s discount is the same as this yearPremiumwould be fine to continue, but

“This year the discount rate is favorable, so set toPremium,

“If next year’s discount rate is the same as last year, I’ll downgrade toPlus!”

When I downgraded, the payment wasn’t processed during the Black Friday period.

So when will it be processed?

Purchases at the Black Friday sale price are confirmed, but the settlement is at the exchange rate at the time your current plan ends.

For example…PremiumtoPlus downgrade it.

Black Friday sale price is $216.00.

This has been completed with “Buy Now,” so $216.00 is confirmed.

As of November, the USD/JPY rate (today 11/20) is 148.535 yen.

$216 ❌ 148.535 yen = about 32,083 yen, but…

That is not the case.

The settlement is at the dollar-yen rate when the current Premium expires.

As with the previous article, if it expires in February…

It will settle at the February 2024 exchange rate.

If the February 2024 dollar-yen rate is 100 yen…

$216 ❌ 100 yen = 21,600 yen settlement.

So it depends on future dollar-yen rates, right?

This yearPremiumand downgrading toPlus in next year’s Black Friday sale would be…

It seems like the exchange rate two years from now, so it’s another tricky issue lol
