Contrarian trading is considered a way to profit, but
in reality, contrarian trading is among the difficult types
when the market reverses
or when the market comes back
at first glance you might think it is a contrarian market
but this just means the trend trading failed
in short, it means profits come from a noisy market
the true nature of the market is
a trending market
and when the trending market dominates
contrarian trading becomes weak suddenly
and then entry into trend-following becomes strong suddenly
you can actually profit
you can actually increase your gains

therefore, doing trend-following rather than contrarian trading is the best
