When you say something like this, people tend to think it’s a difficult topic, but

in reality, it isn’t

Traders who consistently win aren’t necessarily smarter

in many cases, they are actually less intelligent than those who are losing

So why can they win? It’s

simply a matter of differences in trading methods

or small single issues

Quite a lot can be categorized as

contrarian traders and trend-following traders

in reality, those who survive are the trend-following traders who are good at letting profits run

Also, even among contrarian traders, those who can skillfully determine stop losses survive

When people think of trading know-how, they mistake indicators and system-based approaches

Indeed, relying on such things makes it possible to trade without thinking, but

in reality, that is simply “automatic trading” or “system trading”

However, when you look at FX education sites or software sellers

even stable automated trading cannot respond adequately to the market

This isn’t really stability, but

because it’s a method that doesn’t actually observe market movements

The market moves with patterns, but

it isn’t a mechanical motion

In reality, the market moves with a living set of regularities

This is why it doesn’t yield profits without discretion

and this is why it can yield profits with discretion

However, if you say things like this

you might think, “Discretionary trading is too difficult,” but

in reality, if you just pay attention to the points you should watch, that alone is enough

and that becomes trading that adapts to the market’s movements

Without discretion, you will inevitably make more mistakes

This is true on both short-term and medium-term time frames

Because depending on how the market moves, trades can become mistakes

But if you view the market as a living organism with patterns

you can adapt flexibly to those movements

That kind of trading is what trading know-how really is
