The traders who can survive are mostly trend followers; contrarian traders tend to be more technique-oriented
The traders who can survive are quite often trend-followers
Because trend following tends to be what the FX market demands in any market condition
Counter-trend traders tend to be more numerous in a subjective sense
And there are more opportunities to trade counter-trend
Because the profit rate also increases depending on the number of trades
There are more counter-trend trades
When that happens, it’s only natural for the market to move toward trend-following
And the counter-trend traders who had been increasing due to that phenomenon get wiped out
Trend-following traders don’t get swayed by each up and down
Thus they seize profits in that market and survive
That’s really all there is to it, nothing more
In discussing the market, what’s obvious and the methods to survive are everything
Only the most skilled among counter-trend traders survive
In the end, it all comes down to whether you are truly good at it
If you’re not good at it, you’ll eventually stumble somewhere
If you can trade without hesitation, that’s authentic
If you’re growing your profits, you should be able to survive
For that reason, I would like to advocate trend following
