Which indicator to buy only changes the parameter values
In my view, indicators are only changing in parameter values,
there is no such thing as being able to control the market with them.
They are simply parabolic signals that make it easier to chase the market,
or systems that capture trends in an MACD-like manner.
By changing those parameter values,
they often become indicators that merely look like they’re easy to grasp.
And in most cases, they end up fitting to the curve.
No matter how good the most recent results are,
in the end, it ends up being curve fitting.
Because the market at some point incurs losses and at another point generates profits.
That order simply ends up cycling through that trading logic.
So even if an indicator is good,
it only works in a market that is functioning,
and as soon as the market changes, the indicator stops functioning.
Most markets are in that state, so it’s futile to believe in anything.
In the end, everything becomes specialized in one's own discretionary judgment.
Even the self-liquidation of averaging down can be considered a discretionary trade.
