The compatibility between MACD and trend markets is extraordinarily good, and that’s because MACD has a special concept of a trend cycle.
This is not something secret or clandestine
First, what exactly is a trending market
Someone who can explain that would understand it if they have trading experience
However
There is no person who can answer, “Is this a trending market?”
Simply because the trending market itself forms noise
In other words
If the trending market moves cleanly
Dow Theory, N-shape formations, MA touches, and trend-following
these are the so-called diagonal movements that move neatly along trendlines
And as possibilities afterward
It returns to support/resistance and then moves upward like a staircase
A trend market that emphasizes support/resistance (actually, the trader only thinks so)
and then
Sometimes it redraws into a flag type trend
In such markets, it tends to advance strongly
Because the trend market has not appeared up to now
Because the amount it advances is equal to the number of times people were stopped out by fakeouts
If you only hold this concept in your head constantly
you will soon stop making profits
Because you will no longer be able to trade aggressively
To trade aggressively
you must think of the trend market in a simple way
As if assembling a plastic model kit
Only when you can build such mechanically-influenced market analysis can you understand the point
Speaking of MACD
MACD only the zero line is important
In short
MACD analysis means “you cannot trade without the zero signals”
Most often, the entire MACD trading logic hinges on having zero signals
People think of trend-following with at least zero signals
And flags are judged by zero-signal discernment
How many such MACD signals
you turn into market judgments depends on this
The essence of the market is ambiguity
To avoid turning against that ambiguity
Even though it may seem like zero-signal targeting with MACD
you should construct a MACD logic that becomes a mechanical type of decision
which becomes a very powerful logic in trending markets
I often build MACD trading strategies
because that is the good thing about MACD, which I use
Ultimately I believe fundamentals are the strongest weapon,
but similarly, technicals should be valued
