It is a fact that surviving traders are more likely to be trend-following; contrarian traders are more often technique-oriented
Survivor traders are rather inclined toward trend following
Because trend following works in any market; after all the FX market tends to demand it
Contrarian traders become overwhelmingly common
And there are more opportunities for contrarian trades
And because the profit rate can be higher depending on the number of trades
Contrarian trades become more numerous
Naturally, in such a case, a market favorable to trend following will occur, which is an obvious phenomenon
And the contrarian traders who had increased because of that phenomenon will be wiped out
Trend-following traders don’t get overly excited or discouraged
They survive by grabbing profits in that market
It’s really just that, nothing more
In discussing the market, what’s obvious and the skills to survive are everything
Only the contrarian traders who survive have strong techniques
Ultimately, whether you truly excel at something is everything
If you’re not good at it, you’ll end up stumbling somewhere
If you can trade without hesitation, that’s genuine
If you can increase profits, you should be able to survive
In that sense, I would like to recommend trend following
