Q22. How to insert Stochastic Oscillator?
A22. Select “Stochastic Oscillator” and set the parameters
“Insert” → “Indicator” → “Oscillator” → “Stochastic Oscillator”
%K period: Enter the period to calculate %K (an indicator that looks at the recent closing price within a range over a certain period)
%D period: Enter the period to calculate %D (the moving average of %K)
Slowing: Enter the period to calculate Slow%D (the moving average of %D)
Price field: Choose whether to calculate using Low/High, or Close/Close
MA type: Choose from four types: “Simple” simple moving average, “Exponential” exponential moving average, “Smoothed” smoothed moving average, or “Linear Weighted” linear weighted moving average
Lower bound: The lower limit in the sub-window. For oscillators that range 0–100%, checking this is common
Upper bound: The upper limit in the sub-window
