NYSE Closing Prices - Nikkei 225 Futures and After-Hours Trading
Weekend U.S. stock trading opened higher for the three major indices, but later faced selling pressure to close mixed.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose slightly, marking the first 10 straight up sessions since 2017. On a weekly basis, the Dow and the S&P 500 advanced, while the Nasdaq fell about 0.5%.
American Express, which reported earnings, fell nearly 4% and weighed on the Dow.
Large techs were generally soft, with expectations of Nasdaq-100 index rebalancing next week cited as a factor.

Nikkei futures after-hours trading surged sharply, with positive reception to reports that the Bank of Japan would not adjust YCC at the next meeting.
