NY stock market closing price — Nasdaq futures overnight trading

All three major indices rose; the monthly PCE deflator fell short of market expectations, government bond yields declined, and a broad revival in buying driven by futures led the way.

In the core components, Apple topped a market cap of $3 trillion for the first time in a year and a half, with buying concentrated in tech stocks.

In the semi-annual market-by-market gains, Nasdaq posted its best gain since 1983.

Nasdaq futures overnight trading also rose; they could not quite clear 33,500, but held steady in the high range to finish the week’s trading.
