Chart patterns and their characteristics | Symmetrical triangle
Hello. I am Kitsune no Me (Fox Eye).
Today, I will describe the chart pattern that I had trouble conveying“ascending triangle”.
Thank you very much for your attention.
1. Ascending Triangle

An ascending triangle is a chart pattern that occurs as an exception to the usual“price highs do not rise and lows rise” and otherdefinitions of trendwhen it happens.
In the image above, the lows are rising while the highs could not be updated.

As you approach the tip of the triangle, volatility decreases, and one of the directions (up or down) breaks to form a trend.
This is often observed in such situations.
Thus,“price highs do not rise and lows rise”is called“ascending triangle”.
“Ascetra”is sometimes abbreviated as well.

Conversely,“price highs fall while lows do not fall” also exists as a triangle pattern.

This, too, falls under the previously described category of triangles.
However, the name changes, and this is called“descending triangle”.
This is also“Disetra”as a shorthand.

Like the ascending triangle, the volatility decreases toward the tip, and eventually one direction breaks to determine the trend.
That is the typical tendency.
Please keep this in mind.
Besides these two,“price highs fall and lows rise” and“price highs rise and lows fall” patterns also exist, and they are also considered a kind of triangle.
This is the pattern of “price highs fall and lows rise.”

And here is the pattern of “price highs rise and lows fall,”“expanding range”also called.

There are various kinds of triangles when you say “triangle” in general.
However, common to all triangle patterns is thatthe market is often unstable and participants are lacking a clear direction.
In such unstable markets, either direction can be plausible.
So, wait for a breakout.
There is no triangle that lasts forever.
Eventually, it will move in one direction.
The important thing is to take a position only after confirming the direction of the breakout.I have decided to act with this principle in mind.
If you don’t mind, please use it as a reference.
In summary!
Triangles are!!
“Wait for the breakout!”
That is all.
