Can ChatGPT develop EA?

From April to May I released four new EA products after a long time,

Now, ChatGPT has been getting a lot of attention recently,

are you all using it?

ChatGPT is a type of artificial intelligence

and a computer program that can converse like a human.

ChatGPT has learned from a large amount of text data,

it can answer questions from humans and also have conversations,

and some of you may already be using it for work.

I’ve become interested in ChatGPT as well,

and I’m trying various things to see if it can be used for EA development.

For example, something like the following.

If you instruct the entry and exit criteria in Japanese,

it will generate a plausible program accordingly.

The code above was auto-generated by ChatGPT.

I was surprised when I first saw it.

I never imagined AI could evolve this far…

But… while it can generate code,

that doesn’t mean it will automatically produce an EA with an expected value > 1.

That’s completely different.

Of course,

an EA with an expected value > 1 isn’t something it will simply create.

Not only in the field of EAs,

ChatGPT isn’t万能.

It isn’t a magical tool that can grant anything you wish.

It is, above all, a tool that makes tasks more efficientand nothing more.

In EA work, it can generate simple syntax and assist with debugging, so

it might be somewhat usable for EA beginners.

However, for me, who has been involved in EA development for over ten years,

there isn’t much practical use at the moment.

Nevertheless, ChatGPT itself is interesting, so

I plan to continue exploring whether it can be used in some way, including EA development,

and will keep evaluating various possibilities in the future.
