Among numerous moving averages, in an uptrend,

there are lines that function effectively assupport lines during dips as lines with a certain widththat act as Support

Also, in a downtrend,

retracements act asresistance lines of a certain width that function effectively.

In other words, if in an uptrend the price breaks below the support line, a downtrend begins, and

in a downtrend, if it breaks above the resistance line without bouncing, an uptrend begins.

In short, support and resistance lines become turning lines.

This concept also applies to indicators.
