Last week's New York gold price closed at $2,015.80, down $10.60 from the previous week, but the high reached $2,063.40, exceeding the previous week's high of $2,049.20. What concerns us is whether the price will be blocked by the resistance line drawn from the double tops in August 2020 and March 2022, forming a triple top, or whether it will break through to hit a new all-time high and continue rising. It is entering a time of close watch.
Regarding Stochastics, last week I stated that it had not yet crossed (%K and slow %D), leaving considerable upside room. Now, %K is at 83.84 and slow %D is crossing at 85.03. A bit more caution seems prudent.
