Trade from the Previous Day
・USDJPY Dollar/Yen (15-minute chart)
Friday morning saw a feint at the previous day’s low of 134.50.
Taking that as a signal, I went long as it began to rise.
Exit a little before the night’s data release. +85 pips
After the data release, it rose further.
・EURUSD Euro/U.S. Dollar (15-minute chart)
Friday morning saw a strong rebound near the previous day’s high, forming a long upper wick on the M15 chart.
Using that as a signal, I shorted as it started to drop from 1.060.
Exit before the data release. +21 pips
It dropped further after the data release.
