Among the many moving averages, in an uptrend there are

support lines that act as a support (support line) that function effectively over a certain range.

Also, in a downtrend,

there are resistance lines (resistance line) that function effectively over a certain range.

In other words, if in an uptrend the price breaks below a support line without stopping, a decline begins, and

in a downtrend, if the price rises past a resistance line without being repelled, an uptrend begins.

In short,

This thinking also applies to indicators.
