Among many moving averages, in an uptrend there are certain widths of lines

that effectively act assupport lines during pullbacks.

Also, in a downtrend,

there exist certain width lines that effectively act asresistance lines during retracements.

In other words, if in an uptrend the price breaks below a support line, a downtrend begins, and

if in a downtrend it breaks above a resistance line without bouncing, an uptrend begins.

In other words,the support/resistance lines become turning lines.

This idea also applies to indicators.
