Real account operation status of EA (final for December 2022)
This time, the scenery at Suvarnabhumi Airport
The color scheme of Thai Airways is lovely; I’ll never forget the first time I saw it, decades ago when I went to Cambodia.
But this airport is so huge that I got lost once. COVID is still around, and there are various plans this year, so I’ll travel slowly once things settle down a bit…
In the past few months I haven’t changed EA layouts much, so there’s not much change, but December looked like this.

This month 10th month・ 11th month, inheriting the flow EA が good in the position part in progress.
At one point 3000 PIPS over, but then it ended in a stalemate.
As a result, due to the YCC issue at the Bank of Japan, I finished with a record high.
Other departments were relatively solid, ending the month without significant losses and in good shape.
Therefore, all departments ended in good shape this month. It’s great when all departments align.
(EA status for 2022)
2022year 1 position department (including paid free were various, but somehow ended okay.
This year I targeted EA operation with a focus on the lower side. Therefore monthly losses were limited to at most 200,000.
With the current setup, daily cap is around 50,000, so it has settled into a state of no explosive gains or losses.
Since I don’t live off EA as a full-time job, having all departments around 200,000 yen per month is enough! If things go well, it becomes even more of a side income, which makes EA operation feel wonderful (especially this month, being a manager level). I also do discretionary trading.
Also, I’m not spending time on development; I’m just a trader, so I don’t allocate time to development, which is great since I can spend time on other things (even if I’m sick, night out, in Sapporo, Okinawa, or abroad).
This environment unbound by charts! In short,EAoperation can be wonderful depending on how you run it.
But from next year onward, I’m not sure if the currentEAwill still work, so I think I’ll gradually adjust and experiment with trial and error.
But with lowLOT and low capital operation, even if a Lehman-like shock or financial crisis occurs, I’m relatively calm.

Ⅱ.Because it’s machine-based, I want to taste the operation and profits, so operate with thin margins and many contracts.

EAoperation’s purpose is reaffirmed: securing travel funds and free time, not FIRE or living costs. Not full-time, not interested. (In investing, I don’t follow the crowd but ride the market’s trend.)

This month was stable throughout; nothing to complain about. In short, I found an EA online for freeEA, BT-ed and ran it, which was very effective (600P secured).・
Multi-position department (3 EAs deployed) operates with low risk files.
LOT accumulates, so operate with caution.
Nanyin department (3EA → 2EA deployed) is low risk
必ず changes, so EAs that can’t be changed are excluded. This month progressed well
・Scenario department (10EA deployed) usesEA tool to create low-risk SETGOLD files (operate until scenario collapses), compounding automation strategy for horizontal expansion. If a scenario collapses, we’ll create a new one. In this department, main focus is・JP225・EURUSD・USDCAD

Overall, the month started in positive territory, ending without stress.
Week 1 (2 days): 2 days, but Powell’s remarks caused sharp fluctuations; ISM and Nonfarm Payroll, including one position department, started without issues.

Week 4: Gain of around 1000P in a single day in the bank lobby when YCC comments caused yen to strengthen; some EA rode this, resulting in a Christmas gift from the market.
Week 5:2022 final week; 26th off, but continued operating through the 30th with no major issues and steady buildup.

Really lowLOT and low capital. The total account is around 1 million yen, and since I diversify across multiple accounts, even a Lehman-scale crash wouldn’t bankrupt me. (Probably there won’t be total account collapse; currently many currencies other than cross yen and straight)

Also, I don’t keep any EA on the same LOT for a year. I adjust between 0.01 and 0.4 as I operate.
This current style is the easiest; I’ve settled into this. Styles vary by person.
With EA operation, if you could potentially earn 400,000 per year, but if the chance of DD 10,000,000 is higher, you might not operate proactively.For some reason, DD gets updated though.
