Does technical analysis actually affect the market?

I've started to think lately that it might not affect it at all

You might think so, but

when you display technical analysis on the chart in the first place

it is shown with the default values, right?

At this point, many traders are looking at the technical analysis with those default values

This is the same on sites where a different chart is displayed

Hedge funds also do not display a lot of different technical analyses

They use long-term timeframes or combine two technical analyses

It’s fairly simple

However, since both acknowledge that technical analysis does influence the market to some extent

they use that technical analysis

So I believe that the market is indeed moved to some extent by technicals
