trend-following strategies have been profitable

Because ultimately the market is a "trending market"

If you’re searching for the holy grail, I would definitely recommend a breakout bias

I think most trend strategies should focus on how much profit you can extend

If you try to aim for profit-taking at minor tops in a trend strategy

You can make profits when such markets occur

But if such markets don’t occur and a range-bound market forms

There is little overall profitability

Because the appeal of trend strategies is the profits

Only by keeping that profit high can capital increase succeed

Trend strategies are, in my view, my top recommendation

I think beginners should get deeply into trend strategies
