I am retired for almost ten years, so things may be different now,

Back then, trading in the morning focused on forex, but around 2:00 PM there would be important statements

and announcements; otherwise, trading centered on rates & bonds.

Therefore, I believe the forex market moves little after 2:00 PM New York time. My statistics are also from 9:00 AM to around 2:00 AM Japan time.
