How to repeatedly generate profits by making moves on a 1-minute chart in FX
【Question】
Is there a good method for scalping?
In the past, scalping performance was good and quite profitable
now it’s not good at all, so I’m seriously considering retirement
Is there any method?

Hello there. Well, you see
The reason scalping used to be good was
that at the same time, “averaging down could easily generate profits”
Back then the market environment allowed for it; with small error-level loss decisions if you cut losses
you could win quite a bit, but now such things are being countered
It hasn’t disappeared entirely, though
For example
the profits from the time you were scalping
and
the profits from the time you were day trading
when you combine them
given the current near-term market and your own trading logic
how much would you be ahead?
That’s what it comes down to
If you’re not ahead after that, it may be time to change your trading strategy
Since performance can vary greatly depending on whether you’re strong or weak at it
Even people who thought they were bad or amateur
when you propose changing their trading strategy, they suddenly see a big improvement
so natural strengths and weaknesses have a strong effect
If you still want to scalp,
I’d recommend around scalping to day trading
Dow Theory and support/resistance-based approaches are classics and fundamental styles
they won’t become obsolete, so I recommend them
I’ll list some educational pages just in case
please check them if you don’t mind

I also think it’s good to relearn chart patterns
Basics may be laughed at
but market shapes are basically built on basics
in other words, that is the “holy grail”
