That's how it is!
For forward, the recommended margin is ¥260,000, but
the recommended margin from backtesting is ¥750,000.
【Entry Example】
Enter with the minimum unit 0.01, and if you win, that's the end there.
If you lose, increase to 0.02, 0.04 lots. When you buy, reset and re-enter starting from 0.01.
Unlike normal averaging down, you don't keep buying; if a buy loses, you double down on a sell.
It's a reverse martingale doubling.
Looking at the win rate, it stays above 50%, and with TP 87 pips and SL 80 pips, the logic is that profits remain as long as the win rate does not drop below 50%.
This becomes a world of probability,
the hallmark of this EA is that it doesn't matter what market conditions are.
Also, with the minimum entry unit 0.01, the maximum lot size is 1.28, and,
If you lose six times in a row, the seventh trade activates a 1.28-lot.
In three years of forward testing, 1.28 occurred only once.
【Backtest Analysis】
From backtests, the maximum drawdown is $1,828,
and if the seventh 1.28-lot loses, the maximum loss would be this amount.
In forward testing, losses have only reached up to six times, so theoretically the maximum drawdown has not been experienced.
Therefore, assuming the worst case, you would want around ¥750,000 in margin.
With a margin of ¥750,000, expected annual profit is $1,065, which is about 14% annual return.
(That’s still quite good though.)
If the margin doubles, it's good to increase the minimum entry lot from 0.01 to 0.02!
Regardless of how the market moves, it's a very logical EA.
You may not earn a big payout, but it's a steady, incremental EA.
