If you want to win, do not trust experts or investors
【Greetings】
Did you enjoy Golden Week, everyone?
I spent Friday to Sunday relaxing in Shizuoka hot springs, and Tue-Wed-Thu I was playing with an old man in Tokyo.
However, on Saturday night in Shizuoka I ran into a high school classmate, and we went to play basketball. There I unexpectedly fractured my left finger and am leading a fairly restricted life.
Well, I’ll stop my story here and get to the main topic. However, this content drifts from the series.
The reason is that the current market is quite unstable, which makes unnecessary losses likely to increase. Therefore, by writing this article I’m hoping to reduce losses a little.
【Experts and Investors, Do Not Trust Them】
This article has a quite aggressive title, but the content is quite obvious.
Conclusion, both experts and investors are losing.
In fact, famous investor YouTubers have been missing forecasts in recent days, and most of the experts appearing on TV are talking about things far off the mark.
For example, US stocks dropped sharply last night. Because of that, amid a global downtrend, somehow Japanese stocks were not affected.
Why is that? There was an interest-rate hike announcement, but it was as expected and somewhat favorable, so it rose temporarily afterward. So it’s clear that Powell’s announcement isn’t the cause.
Then what was the reason for such a drastic decline? Honestly, I don’t know.
First, even the reason for the big fall in US stocks isn’t clear. On top of that, the reason Japanese stocks weren’t affected isn’t clear in reality.
So will the current situation stay as is, or follow the trend and fall? Or perhaps Japan will rise alone.
I don’t know either, and no one knows what will happen next.
One of the seven mysteries of the world economy is something like this.
“Why does Japan’s economy appear stable despite its decline?”
Then why do experts and investors speak as if they have foreseen the future? Because
“they want their own convenient reality to come true”or“they want money to flow in because of it”are the two options.
So, honestly, whether their predictions hit or miss does not matter. That is the reality.
What I ultimately want to say is,
listen to others’ stories as参考 only andinvest according to your own intuition and rules. That is the point.
In current times when the market is hard to read, many people become anxious and try to latch onto someone. But that is the start of losses.
Investing in a way that is unlike your usual selfcan causepoor money management and loss of exit timing. Therefore, big losses or being stuck in a salt positionbecome more likely.
Also, as mentioned earlier, experts and investors repeatedly emit convenient opinions, regardless of your wins or losses.
So you should not reflect their opinions in your investments.
In the future I will reveal the holdings in another series, but I’ve decided to only share a portion of that week’s trades at the end of the week.
I also lose, so I don’t want people to lose after reading my articles.
【Advice】
Finally, one piece of advice from me.
“Do not invest when it’s unstable.”
When outlooks are unclear, muster the courage to stop investing.
You may lose wins, but you will also lose losses avoided.
Investing without a reason is gambling.
If you like gambling, fine, but there is no value in meaningless wins, and meaningless losses are out of the question.
From now on,if you want to keep winning as an investor, thenyou also need the courage not to invest.
On Twitter, I share my thoughts on investing.
