Number of new high stocks: rapidly increasing
Hello, I am the administrator of Nikkei OP Seller.
Thank you very much for visiting this blog.
I would like to provide information that can be of help to everyone, so I would appreciate your support.
Now, the theme this time isNumber of new high-price stocks.
The chart below shows the 5-day moving average of the number of new high-price stocks (red) and the Nikkei stock average (blue).
In markets where prices surge, the number of new high-price stocks also rises.
Recently, following the big rally at the opening, on January 9th, 355 stocks reached new highs.
As for the Nikkei index, it is becoming top-heavy, but individual stocks are still thriving.
In situations where the number of new high-price stocks exceeds 200 daily, the index is unlikely to fall sharply. Therefore, a full-scale correction would occur after the dispersion of interest in individual stocks.
On the other hand, if the number of these new highs starts to decrease, the index will naturally enter a correction phase.
Be careful about the level of this number of new high-price stocks.
