Second installment of the series
Where does the edge lie? Hope found from numerous backtests 【Second Interview】
Hello! This is Muroi from GogoJungle.
Continuing from last time, in the second interview video, HERO, who hadn't been able to win
yet, discusses experiences in “finding methods” and “finding winning products,”
and what he noticed after learning the MQL program.
We asked him about that.
・Discretionary-based methods are difficult
This leads to the conclusion.
Mastering discretionary trading is desirable, but people have strengths and weaknesses.
It requires trading experience and market judgment, and it takes
a lot of time and effort.
Profitability or not ultimately depends on that person's judgment and experience.
Discretionary judgment, which requires a lot of time and effort and ongoing decisions, cannot produce the HERO you envision.
HERO learned and understood the MQL program, and because of that, he could recognize the limits of his own discretionary judgment.
Limits of discretionary judgment became clear.
Therefore, HERO backtests all of the verifiable methods he could obtain.
One can imagine that backtest results won't be favorable for discretionary methods, but
as expected
・Backtests revealed no effective methods
as a result.
With any method, if you do not include discretionary judgment, performance trends downward.
Of course, but by validating the results as numbers and actual data,
they realized the pitfalls of the methods and decided to build a system
that can cover those pitfalls.
Three thousand programs
over ten thousand backtests
the HERO-like methods HERO discovered by creating and testing
became the driving force behind discovering and creating those methods
Verification of backtests for all methods
And
The fact that no effectiveness could be found
became the conclusion.
The ancient Greek philosopher Socrates introduced
“Knowledge of ignorance”
Recognizing one's own ignorance leads to true understanding.
He stated this.
By recognizing his own ignorance, HERO made a great leap to become “HERO.”
By acknowledging the knowledge of ignorance, HERO decided to shape his own methods.
With such experiences, HERO's compendium of insights from creating methods
“X-Ray Vision Level 1”
is here!
High edge and high versatility
Timeless method
Mastering discretionary techniques
Does not depend on currency pairs
Supports both Binary and FX
As a result of backtesting all methods, those with high edge and generality
were chosen to be developed, and they took shape as “X-Ray Vision Level 1”
I hope you will take a look!

There was also a past where HERO lost three million yen.
That was quite a surprise, wasn’t it?
The need to arm oneself with knowledge and information is crucial, as HERO has shown firsthand.Proved firsthand
Because HERO has this experience, his persuasiveness is markedly higher.
It was a very compelling interview.
Next time, we will delve into how he achieved success
