GW The Tokyo Stock Exchange and Japan Securities Clearing Corp. will strengthen temporary measures related to margin trading starting from trades settled on the 30th. The TSE will raise the commission guarantee margin requirement from the current 50% or more (of which cash is 20% or more) to 70% or more (of which cash is 40% or more). JSC also will raise the collateral collection rate for lending/borrowing transactions and related self-trading to from the current 50% (of which cash is 20%) to 70% (of which cash is 40%).
