AUD/USD Futures speculative positions
I suddenly noticed that the gaps between candles in the next chart occur on weekends. Market turning points often happen on weekends.
If so, January 29 (Sat) - 30 (Sun) would be a market turning point, and the Australian dollar would remain firm for a while. (The Australian dollar weakened on February 4 (Fri), though.)
When forecasting the AUD market,
(1) Interest rate differentials Australia-US (2 years, 5 years, 10 years)
(2) Trade balance, current account balance
(3) Prices of metals such as iron
(4) Inflation, wage growth rate
(5) The condition of China’s economy, the largest export destination
(6) MACD (more about whether it is in the positive or negative zone rather than buy/sell points, to gauge direction)
(7) etc.
