• Scalping is the true essence of EAs!?
“Not being swayed by emotions” or “making good use of time,” etc., there are many advantages to automated trading. Especially when trading in short timeframes like scalping, you should be able to feel those benefits. Among such scalping-type EAs, the focus this time is the promising new EA released on November 10, called SpeedScalpingEx.
The backtest scores are excellent, but the price is a bit steep at 100,000 yen. Still, this EA must have that much value and confidence! So we sat down with its creator, Mr. T.K. directly.

・Took two years to develop and complete
The development of SpeedScalpingEx began about two years ago. Mr. T.K., who had been involved in FX even earlier, felt limitations with discretionary trading and stepped away for a while. However, due to work obligations, he got back into FX and decided to personally develop an automated trading program using an EA.
“I originally had the idea, so I thought it could be realized relatively easily. But in reality it was quite difficult, and I nearly gave up many times. Yet at some point I realized that profits were large over a certain period, and as I verified that, the results gradually improved.”
• Modifying usable ideas
He had been an engineer who could use programming languages such as VB, so technically there was no resistance to development in MQL4. However, he absorbed ideas from various sources and continued to experiment on his own.
“At first, I did buy products and built up know-how from them. Honestly, there wasn't much that was truly useful, but it may have been beneficial for understanding commonly used techniques and trends toward relatively higher-performing programs.”
・The engineer who felt limits in discretionary trading built this EA with real effort
The features of SpeedScalpingEx are, above all, a high win rate. In addition, it includes compounding and trailing stop features, achieving more than 80 trades per month. Also, the parameter settings are simple, and adjusting the compounding value and stop-loss settings is easy. The currency pair is USD/JPY, and it is designed primarily for the 15-minute chart.
By the way, in this interview Mr. T.K. shared ideas for developing a new EA, but publication here is not allowed. However, we can say that it is a quite groundbreaking EA.
