“Featured in Toyo Keizai ONLINE” I was interviewed for a magazine!

Good morning, this is Matsushita.

The other day, I, for the first time in a while, did an interview for a magazine.

I have been interviewed several times before, but

this time comes after a longer interval since the last interview.

This was the opportunity.

The magazine is the YenSPA! 2018 Winter Issue, to be released next Friday, December 8.

In the stock mid-to-long term investment section of this feature issue,

I am said to appear on two facing pages.

I have already confirmed the article’s content, but

I have not yet seen the design or photos, so

I’m curious how I will be featured.

A little nervous, I suppose. (laugh)

At the request of the publisher, Fusosha, the plan and intent behind the feature

and five stocks for future attention are listed.

Especially for readers who have known me for a long time,

there are surprising stocks included, so it’s a must-see.

The first magazine interview was, I think, in 2006.

At that time I lived in Osaka,

and the interview was in a room at a hotel in Umeda.

This time the interview was in a lounge at a hotel in Meguro, near my workplace.

Two staff members came,

and what started as a one-hour interview ended up stretching to two hours as it grew more engaging.

This time, focusing on the cautions in stock mid-to-long-term investing and

the Matsushita-method introduction,

I explained to the two about the merits and demerits of stock mid-to-long-term investing,

and the precautions.

The two were impressed and

said, “Mind-blowing insights.”

They also gave me the impression that it felt a bit like one of my usual seminars.

They gave such feedback.

Even though it’s a small two-page feature with limited space,

I would be happy if it conveys even a little bit of correct investing.

When you think of SPA, it is a famous magazine, and

unlike the Diamond ZAi or BigTomorrow I have previously been interviewed for,

I believe it targets a somewhat different readership, so

I hope it introduces Matsushita Makoto’s investing to people who do not know him.

It has been a while since I did an interview for a general magazine,

so I was a bit excited.

I’ll keep taking on more magazine interviews,

and someday I’ll be on television,

I’ve resolved to renew my aspirations. (laugh)
