Notice of Resignation of Auditors Regarding the resignation of our company's auditor, we would like to inform you as follows. As previously announced in timely disclosure to the Tokyo Stock Exchange on October 29, 2021, entitled "Notice Regarding Receipt of Investigation Report from the Independent Committee," we announced that we had received the investigation report (hereinafter referred to as "the Investigation Report") from the Independent Committee on that date. The Independent Committee indicated in the Investigation Report that Mr. Mitsuo Gotō had violated his duties as an auditor by surveillance duties, and that he was clearly unsuitable as an auditor, and thus advised that he should take responsibility such as resigning. Our company, while fully respecting the recommendations of the Independent Committee’s Investigation Report, has been working to improve our internal controls, etc., as announced in the timely disclosure to the Tokyo Stock Exchange on December 1 of the same year, titled "Notice Regarding the Status of Improvement of Internal Control System and Formulation of Improvement Plan" and on December 28 of the same year titled "(Change of Disclosure Items) Notice Regarding the Status of Improvement of Internal Control System and Formulation of Improvement Plan." As part of these efforts, upon receiving the recommendation that Mr. Gotō resign as auditor, he expressed his intent to resign and resigned as of today.
