Renova crash!! PTS at S rank! Defeated by Mitsubishi Corporation alliance in Akita Prefecture offshore wind power‼️
Renova, a developer of renewable energy projects, saw its stock price fall 15% from the previous weekend to 3,900 yen on the 27th, hitting a limit-down sell-off with no trades executed. As of 9:57 a.m., there were more than 2.76 million shares on the sell side. Disappointment selling followed news that it failed to secure the offshore wind project site off Akita Prefecture, which had been seen as the main candidate in the public offering. The government announced on the 24th that Mitsubishi Corporation-led corporate alliance (consortium) was selected as the offshore wind power operators for three areas, including the offshore area off Choshi, Chiba Prefecture, and the offshore area off Yurihonjo, Akita Prefecture. Renova had applied for the Yurihonjo offshore project in partnership with Cosmos Energy Power, JR East Energy Development, and Tohoku Electric Power.
