Is the Nikkei average 100,000?
Hello, I am Nikkei OP Day Trader, the administrator.
Thank you very much for visiting this blog.
I would like to provide information that can be of help to everyone, so please support me.
Now, the theme this time isNikkei 225 forecast.
The Nikkei average has recorded 16 consecutive advances, and optimistic forecasts are emerging.
Monex Securities has released a report forecasting that the Nikkei average will reach 30,000 within the next fiscal year.
★ It would be more than a 30% rise from the current price.
★ The calculation suggests a 20% rise in projected EPS and a 10% rise in PER would be nice.
Mushah Research says it could reach not 30,000 or 40,000, but 100,000 as well.
★ If it were to reach 100,000, the PER would be 15 times, and EPS would rise from the current around 1,500 yen to 6,666 yen.
Currently, independent analysts often must refrain from saying the stock will rise in order to continue receiving business from major sponsors, Japanese securities firms.
If they say the stock will fall, they may not get the work.
Coincidentally, during the 1989 bubble, securities firms were saying the Nikkei would rise to 100,000.
Also, I recall Nomura Securities saying 10,000 and NTT saying 10,000,000 yen.
Afterwards, as you know, the Nikkei average fell below 7,000.
When overly optimistic forecasts appear, one should exercise great caution.
