Forward testing has been conducted on USD/JPY 1-hour chart, but due to the market being in a stagnant state, this is the result.

By the way ...Trend Surfer EA Type IIis an EA I would recommend for small capital.
Forward testing was conducted with 1,000,000 JPY margin and position size of 100,000 currency units.
In other words, if you operate with 1,000 units, the required margin is 10,000 yen.
If you have a lot of margin, an EA that earns steadily with large lots might be nice, but with little margin operating steadily, doesn’t the absolute amount feel small and frustrating?

Saying “if you operate with 1,000 units, the margin is 10,000 yen” still has room to maneuver.
With 100,000 yen margin, even with a position size 1.5x, 15,000 units, it seems not to blow up.
The data below is a backtest on the past 20 months of market behavior using the largest position size that does not cause bankruptcy.



As you can see, with a margin of 1,000,000 yen, operating at 1.9 lots yields profits exceeding 2,000,000 yen.
There are many losing trades and the profit factor is low, and the win rate is also low, but the realized profit may be sufficiently large.
What is outstanding is the risk-reward ratio (see the average winning trade and average losing trade).

This EA strictly follows the essence of the market, “trend following with small losses and large profits.”
I do not think “high win rate” is an absolute condition.
