Type of user based on the purpose of using EA
To EA users,
I feel that there are “multiple types of people” regarding the purpose of using EA.
Specifically,
The purpose of using EA is
(1) Those who are 100% focused on asset management (aiming to increase assets)
(2) Those who want 50% asset management and 50% enjoyment
(3) Those who want 100% enjoyment
In large part, these are the three types.
(EA users) are broadly speaking, belonging to one of the above three types, I think.
First, regarding (1),
'They are not particularly interested in the operation of EA or the frequency of trading,
and in the long run, aim to increase assets.'
Next, regarding (3),
'Above all, they like watching (verifying) EA's operation (trading),
and of course they like that assets increase as a result.'
In the world of discretionary trading, the so-called "P positions syndrome" in the EA version
I think this would be the type (3).
Viewed differently,
one could also see it as a long-term vs short-term perspective.
(3) is, in a sense,
a short-term "stress relief,"
and may be a case of seeking EA for entertainment/game-like features,
a sentiment like that, I feel.
This is by no means bad,
the purpose of using EA is, after all,自由, but
from the standpoint of "stable asset growth,"
(3) type users seem to be somewhat disadvantaged.
The reason is that
basically, an EA has the aspect that
[The more frequent the trading, the lower the win rate tends to be, and stability also tends to decrease]
therefore.
If you look back at past high-frequency EAs, it becomes clear,
An EA that moves energetically may show a sharp upward trend at release or in the short term, but
in the long run, it tends to end up with a downward trend.
This is because
one of the causes is often that the trading frequency is too high.
We feel that way.
However, it is also true that high-frequency EAs are relatively popular among many people, so
such EAs can be acceptable,
basically, this type of EA is more about the purpose of viewing the operation than about asset growth.
If you are using it with that understanding, there is no problem, but
in reality, at heart you expect that "assets will surely grow,"
and in that sense, by seeking "enjoyment" from EA,
in terms of asset growth, you may actually be losing out.
I feel there are quite a few people like that,
as I see it.
And high-frequency trading EA, even if you reduce trading frequency with parameters,
that does not necessarily lead to improved profitability in many cases, in many cases,
(since it is not the default usage, profitability does not change much)
In that sense,
instead of EA that already has high trading frequency by default,
a default with fewer trades, high win rate, and
can be used with increasing trading frequency as desired.
I think such a type of EA is less likely to become a dud EA in the long term,
as I see it.
Lastly, one more point: some people choose high-frequency EAs for the reason of wanting to greatly increase assets quickly.
As for this aspect,
I would like to discuss it in the next installment.
Sorry for the lengthy text. (( _ _ ))
