1. About changes to the report content
Starting from August 2020, the contents of “Search for 100 Baggers” will be changed as described below after one year from the start.
① The monthly introduction will basically cover one stock (delivered in the 1st or 2nd week)
② A follow-up report will be provided at the end of the month
③ In weeks where there is no stock introduction or follow-up report, we will provide a “Sakurada Memo” that shares notable recent stocks, market conditions, and trading ideas.
【Reason for change】
Since August last year we have written 50 issues over a year, trying various methods for stock selection and what to convey to readers. As a result, one direction in stock investment has become clearer, so we will shift to a report focused on the direction I believe in.
The reasons are threefold below.
① It is rare to find 10 stocks per year that dramatically boost the performance of one's own portfolio; even increasing the number of stock introductions does not necessarily improve performance or greatly increase assets.
② Stocks suitable for mid- to long-term investment can experience rapid stock price increases due to earnings growth. Consequently, even if one trades mid-term (about 3 months) stocks that are suitable for mid- to long-term, understanding the intrinsic value of the company often yields better results than chasing headlines.
③ This report centers on discovering “ultra-growth stocks” with strong long-term growth potential, so by narrowing the number of introduced stocks, we can conduct deeper research and analysis and confidently hold target stocks, providing more valuable information.
This is a weekly report, so there were times when I looked for topics (stocks) to write about; in the current market, I have occasionally told you about value stocks that do not easily improve performance.
Value stocks are not bad, but in order to focus more on long-term growth stock investing, I decided to select and present only the stocks I want to write about and would like to introduce.
Also, in weeks without stock introductions and follow-up reports, we will provide a “Sakurada Memo” that analyzes and considers the current market environment and recently popular stocks. The Sakurada Memo will primarily examine which stocks are attracting attention in the short term (up to about three months) and which sectors or stocks may be targeted in the mid term.
We will succinctly summarize on about three A4 pages and introduce future investment targets and ideas.
There may be various opinions about these changes, but we sincerely appreciate your continued support for this report.
