How are the deals shaping up?
This week, as another fun market week comes to an end, there are still about half of NY hours left, and only a few hours remain.
Today we focused on two trades: a diagram-graphic-obsessed “Garake” style pre-weekend yen pair trade and employment statistics trade.
Regarding the rate-trade, we refrained from going long and managed to take profits only from short positions with caution.

Last month’s employment statistics attempt on euro-dollar failed, but today’s employment statistics trade was a solid, safe move in the dollar-yen, which Garake favors, so we could secure solid profits.
Now, today’s trades were taken in double: with Garake’s main account and with Invast Securities, who currently feature Garake, in the Real Trade Grand Prix between Try-Auto FX and Try-Auto ETF accounts.
However, there is also some disappointing news.
For Garake’s trading battle account, I forgot to cancel the limit order for a euro-dollar long placed Monday this week, and when euro-dollar dropped to around 1.1825, that limit order all hit to execute (tears).
I thought it would bounce back if left alone (and it did), but since it was an order error, I had to cut losses ruthlessly, resulting in a sizable loss, making this week continue to be tough.

Finally, Garake’s pension fund? for day trading, swing trading, and medium-to-long-term trades, today I took profit on the USD/JPY Turkish lira pair. Brazilian real/yen, South African rand/yen, and GBP/JPY are on break.
Indeed, deals are difficult, as I’ve been reminded lately.
Garake plans to focus on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading over the weekend as his main work.
