The top-ranked “稼KING GBPCAD” is a grid averaging EA, and so far the drawdown isn’t large and profits are steadily accumulating. It seems to trade in small increments, so it might not be an EA to enjoy with very small lots!
The 2nd “Recovery” is also a grid EA. Unlike previous grid EAs, it diversifies risk across multiple currencies (4 currency pairs) to avoid large drawdowns. This time the earned pips were negative, but at stop-loss moments it uses small lots, and at take-profit moments it uses large lots, so the accumulation is positive. It trades frequently, and like KING, it can be enjoyed with small lots.
3rd “Big-wave” is the 6-currency-pair version of Recovery. Recovery uses a 15-minute chart, while this uses a 5-minute chart, and the logic seems a bit different. Since the developers are the same, choosing between the two is tough. If it were me, with many currency pairs to monitor, I’d lean toward Big-wave.
4th “鳴弦_EURUSD” and 5th “Breakout Fanclub Pound-Dollar” regrettably turned negative this week. 鳴弦 caught the big wave from FOMC but couldn’t follow the subsequent pullback. Breakout Fanclub defaults to 1 lot, so the outcomes look flashy, but when you consider 0.1 lot, it isn’t bad, perhaps pretty good.
6th “RosePound” sold well this week. It’s also ranked No. 1 in the monthly sales. Congratulations! Win rate 78.9%, average profit more than double the average loss. It seems to use TP10, SL80 settings, but the logic is good, so it’s winning. Drawdowns may come someday, but at this stage I’d like to see how it behaves after a drawdown.
7th “NY_Time_Trade_GBPUSD” is my favorite EA! TP and SL are both 100, currently win rate 55% with profitability 51%! Truly a low-risk, high-reward EA. EAs like this tend to trade less frequently, but given the pair is GBPUSD, it has traded 15 times in 19 trading days. With 1 position, margin requirements are small. I can’t believe there are zero buyers. Apologies for the lack of sales!
13th 銀狼 has a 13-win streak and then its streak stopped. It also seems to be a rare flaw in the backtest. Is it a pullback-buy on the chart? A rebound play?
We omitted 8th to 12th, but here are the results of the EAs we covered last week.
From the product page calendar, profits are made daily (though occasionally negative). Is this level of win rate achievable with manual trading? If you have never used an EA, please try it once. How about using it as a hedge for discretionary trading?
FX trading is not principal-protected and may incur losses. Please trade with funds you can afford to lose.
We are continually launching new products, so please check the EA section over the weekend.
