FX Deal Report August 14, 2017 (Monday)
Good morning, everyone.
Another fun week at the market has begun.
Japan is in the midst of Obon, and tomorrow is the end of war day.
How are your deal results?
This week, the market is likely to continue facing risks such as North Korea.
Starting today is a three-day weekend,or for some, a 10-day holiday combined with Obon,and although I would like to boast about Ga-rake being vacationing overseas, today is not a holiday, so Ga-rake, bound by the sad nature of a corporate slave, has been immersed in work up to just now as usual.
As I mentioned a bit last week,with me being so absorbed in work as a corporate slave to this extent,I’m starting to think about making a living as a full-time trader,and lately I’ve been reconsidering that again.
Even though there’s not much time, the deal addict? Ga-rake has been diligently trading.
Now, for day trading, the familiar “Nikkei middle-rate trade,”but with Obon and North Korea risk in play, both long and short wereno-trade days.

During London and New York hours, from before the NY open to NY option cut to the London fix, I was able to trade bit by bit with day trades and swing trades in USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, EUR/USD, AUD/JPY, GBP/JPY, and I hold positions in EUR/USD and EUR/JPY.

Medium- to long-term trades are in USD/JPY,USD/BRL? or Brazilian real? in JPY terms,MXN/JPY? Mexican peso in JPY terms, and ZAR/JPY? South African rand in JPY terms,but due to North Korea risk we cannot shake it off completely,so I’d like to add positions gradually,but since there might be something caused by North Korea risk over the week, it’s not a deal.
Now, I also took a small profit from Bitcoin, which I had neglected in the realm of cryptocurrencies (cryptos).
