Reasons I list EA
Occasionally, we receive inquiries from customers such as
“Why do you bother listing a good EA for sale?”
“Wouldn’t it be more profitable to operate it by yourself without selling it?”
.
This is indeed a reasonable line of thinking,
“EAs tend to operate more reliably in as closed an environment as possible (i.e., a less noticeable environment),”
and thus are more likely to function in the long term.
We also think so.
However, there are actually “benefits to listing” as well.
For example,
we initially developed an EA called “EA_Six_Arrow,”
which served as a stepping stone to even more capable EAs,
such as higher-grade EAs like “ED版,” “Revolution,” and “5pair.”
These EAs would likely not have existed if I had run “EA_Six_Arrow” by myself alone.
The reason is that
ED版 and Revo, among others, were created after receiving feedback from customers and after FXON provided forward testing data from real operation as a result of listing EA_Six_Arrow,
as well as input and cooperation from external sources.
Because of that, I feel that they were able to be created for the first time.
Therefore,
even now, when a good EA is completed,
I sometimes hesitate between “list it for sale” or “operate it by myself only,”
but considering the benefits of listing described above,
in order to further “evolve” the EA, I would like to keep listing more and more,
I think.
(Of course, I also hope to be of help to EA users who purchase my EAs,
which is a big part of my intention.)
Thank you for your continued support. m(_ _)m
