When I talk with many individual investors,

they tend to view investing as complex and understand it in a complex way,

Complex things seem somehow sophisticated,

and you think you understand them at the moment, but

as time passes and the cracks begin to show,

they easily crumble and leave nothing behind.

By contrast, simple things are closer to the essence simply because they are simple,

and being simple makes them strong.

Being strong means being durable for a long time

and continuing to generate profits.
